Our story

I have always loved flowers and being able to have fresh flowers in my home. I have flower beds around my house and pool with hydrangeas and a few other plants and seeds that I scattered around. I love having the hydrangea blooms to cut and I wanted other flowers that I could cut and bring inside. This is how Blessing Road Flower Farm came to be. So, I planted many zinnia and cosmo seeds this year and have loved being able to cut these flowers and share with others.

This has been a trial and error process and I am still learning. Even though I have always lived on a farm, there are many hours of research to learn all the ins and outs of growing flowers. I had some flower growing knowledge, but I am still learning the business and sales side of a flower farm.

I plan to add tulips and other spring flowers in the upcoming spring.

Our farm, Sumners Farm, is our cattle farm. My husband, Andy, and his dad have grown South Poll Cattle at Sumners Farm for many years. You can check out their website at sumnersfarm.com or on Facebook @Sumners Farm.
